DAMON CROWDY FOUNDATION INC

The Damon Crowdy Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals and families facing financial hardship through holistic, community-based programs. Our mission is to enhance the lives of underserved individuals by providing access to basic needs, educational and vocational resources, mental health support, and life skills development.

We serve vulnerable populations in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and surrounding areas—including teens, adults, individuals in recovery, the homeless, veterans, single parents, and returning citizens. Our primary programs include:

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): In partnership with Rebirth Enhancement Services, this program supports individuals recovering from substance use disorders by addressing both therapeutic and basic living needs. Through the Damon Crowdy Foundation, participants receive hygiene kits, clothing, food support, and transportation assistance to reduce barriers to sustained recovery.

Wellness Wonderland: A free, annual community wellness and resource fair that provides families with access to health screenings, wellness kits, nutritious food, and educational activities. The event promotes whole-family wellness and connects residents with local service providers.

Strengthening Families Program: This initiative focuses on building positive parenting skills, improving family dynamics, and creating safe and stable home environments. It supports both children and caregivers through workshops, counseling, and resource referrals.

Our work is rooted in compassion, community engagement, and long-term impact. By addressing immediate needs while fostering independence and resilience, we strive to create lasting change for individuals and families in our community.
