Our mission is to support United States SOF Veterans in their journey to become physicians.

Special Operations Forces to School of Medicine (SOF to SOM) supports United States SOF Veterans in their journey to become physicians. Our vision is to harness the unique SOF culture of excellence to create a cohort of SOF Veteran physicians that contribute their experience, talents, and traits in service to one another and the field of military and civilian medicine as it takes on future healthcare challenges.

The specific objectives and purpose of this organization:
a. Provide academic advising and scholarly support applying to medical school
b. Provide data that supports the applicant during the application process
c. Provide community during the application process
d. Provide medical schools with insight about US SOF training and capability
