Lorik Humanitarian Fund

Lorik Humanitarian Fund was founded after the azerbaijan launched a war against Artsakh and Armenia in 2020. Initially the fund's focus was on disaster relief, later on rebuilding and sustainability project. The funds youth initiatives included the creation and funding of dace, wrestling, and theatre groups. The fund was active during the 9 month blockade of Artsakh installing 50 solar water heaters for energy independence and disaster relief. Sustainable agricultural initiatives like building greenhouses contributed to the food security of the local community.

On September 19, 2023 azerbaijan launched an attack against the Armenians of Artsakh.
The 150,000 Armenian inhabitants of Artsakh had already been under an azerbaijani blockade for 9 months.

Cut off from electricity, gas, food, water, and medicine, the azerbaijani bombings and attacks forced the Armenians of Artsakh out of their ancestral homes.

Over 150,000 Armenians have been forcibly displaced.
