Said By Father and Son

Said By The Father and Son is a multidisciplinary theatrical performance project created and performed by father and son artists Leon Walker and Rob Young. Blending spoken word poetry, live music, storytelling, and projected visuals, the production explores themes of legacy, Black fatherhood, identity, grief, healing, and generational wisdom. Rooted in lived experience and cultural storytelling, the work creates an intimate yet powerful space for audiences to reflect, connect, and engage in meaningful dialogue across generations. Our mission is to use art as a bridge — strengthening family bonds, amplifying underrepresented narratives, and fostering community conversation through transformative live performance.
