Mo’ Motion Dance is a Tacoma-based cultural arts organization centered around dance, dedicated to cultivating excellence, confidence, and community connection. Through Mo’ Motion Dance Academy, we serve youth ages 4–18 with rigorous, high-quality training grounded in ballet, jazz, and contemporary, alongside culturally rooted and social dance forms that deepen versatility, broaden perspective, and strengthen connection to culture. Our approach unites artistic rigor with holistic mentorship, preparing aspiring professionals with strong technical training while also fostering discipline, creativity, leadership, and life skills that support success beyond the studio. For dancers seeking advanced opportunities, our Jr. Company provides a pre-professional track with expanded training and regional performance experiences. Beyond the academy, the Mo’ Motion Dance Project is our adult professional contemporary company, and we also offer a free adult class series that invites the broader community into a variety of dance styles.
