Empowered Ambitions Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 and officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with federal tax exemption status in March 2022. Empowered Ambitions Inc. is primarily composed of over 90% retired veterans and/or U.S. Contractors employed by the United States government in some
capacity. We are united by a common mission: to empower and support veterans and veteran families that suffer from social and economic challenges, particularly those stemming from homelessness, medical and mental health issues, and financial instability. Our dedicated team of retired veterans and U.S. Contractors brings a wealth of
experience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the veteran community through community- driven efforts and outreach services. With a profound commitment to serving those who have served, Empowered Ambitions leverages its members; unique insights and cultural understanding to connect with and address the
specific needs of veterans, providing them with access to honor, dignity, and assistance.
Empowered Ambitions operates with a distinctive model by bringing its services directly to disabled veterans, rather than expecting them to visit facilities. This approach ensures that the support provided is as convenient and accessible as possible, thereby enhancing its effectiveness. Their activities include mobilizing resources, raising awareness, and offering a steadfast network of social aid. Through our innovative programs and outreach initiatives,
Empowered Ambitions Inc. strives to alleviate the burdens faced by veterans and their families. We recognize that transitioning to civilian life can be fraught with difficulties, including securing stable housing, accessing healthcare, and attaining gainful employment. To combat these issues, we provide a comprehensive array of services designed to support veterans in every aspect of their lives.
One of our hallmark initiatives is the “Weathering The Storm” program, which offers essential financial support to military veterans and their family members who are battling cancer, are cancer survivors, or have lost their lives to the disease. This program acknowledges the dual battles faced by these families: the fight against the disease and
the challenge of managing daily life amid treatment. While these families’ medical expenses are typically covered, they often face other challenges such as a lack of community support, transportation issues, and financial obstacles during their treatment. Empowered Ambitions aims to alleviate these burdens by providing holistic services,
including job training, case management assistance, and financial aid during difficult times.
