Keystone Development seeks to launch Keystone STEM Academy, an elementary school for students 1st through 6th grade using a blended learning model of both online and face to face. We will use Project Lead the Way's Launch program as the STEM curriculum, incorporating project based learning to promote critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, computer technology skills, and leadership. Students in the 6th grade will be introduced to Project Lead the Way's cyber security curriculum. Students will be prepared for a world of AI and advanced technology.
We are requesting funding to purchase new advanced computers for individuals and families in Las Vegas who are eager to learn coding, data analysis, cyber security, Ux/UI design, project management and other technology skills but lack access to the necessary equipment. These computers will be used in community programs focused on digital literacy, programming, and workforce development, empowering participants with the tools and knowledge needed for today’s tech driven job market. Your support will help bridge the digital divide and open doors to new opportunities for underserved members of our community.
Keystone STEM Academy Charter School is in the formation stage. As the world changes and accepts a new normal for interacting, engaging, and learning. With your help, we can launch this program in time for the 25/26 school year.
