Through our volunteer-powered intergenerational connection programs, educational workshops, and community events, we give people the tools, opportunities, and support to build lasting connections in their everyday lives. Since launching in 2019, our initiatives have have touched the lives of 40,000 people of all ages.
Background:
Social connection is one of the most powerful predictors of health and well-being - as essential as nutrition and exercise. Positive social connection prevents loneliness, the quiet epidemic that undermines health, impedes purpose and productivity, and weakens resilience.
