The One Note Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible, veteran founded, non-profit charitable organization. The responsibility of the organization is to ensure the stability of the music arts for future generations.
The One Note Hope Foundation is dedicated to helping school-aged musicians, through donations, in an effort to inspire musicians that would otherwise never have the opportunity to develop their passion for music. No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered. No part of the corporation shall influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office. Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, the corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on (a) by a corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, (b) by a corporation, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. Upon dissolution, all remaining assets must be used exclusively for exempt purposes, such as charitable, educational, and/or scientific purposes, specifically focused towards promotion of the arts in schools.
