The ongoing violence and displacement in North Kivu, a region in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, have created a dire humanitarian situation. Countless innocent lives have been uprooted, homes destroyed, and families torn apart. More than one million people have fled the fighting linked to the resurgence of the M23 armed group in North Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Hundreds of thousands live in complete poverty in overcrowded camps in Goma and its surrounding area. We have created this fund to address the immediate needs of the displaced population, such as shelter, food, clean water, and medical assistance. Additionally, it aims to facilitate long-term solutions by supporting initiatives that promote peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region.
