Showing your support for wild and rescued wolves supports not only these critical apex predators but also the habitats in which they live. At the Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (LARC) we rescue wolves and other canids (coyotes, foxes, and wolfdogs) who have no where else to go but euthanasia. We so appreciate others who are also passionate about helping these animals who have suffered so much during hunts, trapping, and outright extermination methods. LARC also employs US military veterans to care for the rescued wolves at our sanctuary in California. Both species "get" each other and form lasting, healing relationships (as seen on our Animal Planet series "Wolves and Warriors.")
