Retraining the Village transitional housing needs your support
par RETRAINING THE VILLAGEDear Friend,
It's been a while since we've connected, and we wanted to reach out with both gratitude and hope.
First, thank you.
Whether you have supported Retraining the Village through donations, partnerships, volunteerism, employment opportunities, referrals, or simply by believing in our mission, you have played a role in changing lives.
Over the years, your support has helped us serve more than 500 men and families, facilitate over 1,000 employment opportunities for returning citizens and veterans, and achieve an 86% success rate in helping participants remain employed, substance-free, and permanently housed.
But statistics only tell part of the story.
Behind every number is a person who was given another chance.
A father working to reunite with his children.
A veteran rebuilding after years of hardship.
A person overcoming addiction and finding hope again.
Someone who once felt forgotten is now discovering purpose, stability, and belonging.
These are the lives your support has helped transform.
As we participate in TogetherTuesday, a movement dedicated to strengthening communities through generosity and collective action, we are reminded of something we have believed since Retraining the Village was founded in 2012:
It takes a village to change one life at a time.
Today, that mission remains as important as ever.
The need continues to grow. Individuals facing homelessness, recovery challenges, unemployment, and reentry barriers are still looking for opportunities to rebuild their lives. Every day, we see people who are ready to work, ready to learn, and ready to create a better future—but they need support, resources, and a community willing to believe in them.
That's where you come in.
This TogetherTuesday, we invite you to reconnect with the mission and help us continue creating pathways to housing stability, workforce readiness, recovery, and long-term independence.
Your contribution helps support:
Transitional housing and stabilization services
Workforce development and job readiness training
Technology and digital literacy education
Recovery support programs
Community-building initiatives
Life-changing opportunities for individuals seeking a fresh start
Every gift matters.
Every partnership matters.
Every act of generosity strengthens the village.
If Retraining the Village has ever touched your life, inspired you, or aligned with your values, we would be honored to have your support once again.
Together, we can help more individuals move from crisis to stability, from uncertainty to opportunity, and from surviving to thriving.
Thank you for being part of this journey.

With gratitude,
