PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA

HEPHZIBAH, Georgia

Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members – veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. The PVA-Southeastern Chapter will use that expertise to be the leading advocate for: Quality health care for our members, Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction, Benefits available as a result of our members’ military service, Civil rights and opportunities that maximize the independence of our members. To enable PVA to continue to honor this commitment, we must recruit and retain members who have the experience, energy, dedication, and passion necessary to manage the organization and ensure adequate resources to sustain the programs essential for PVA- Southeastern Chapter to achieve its mission.

The Southeastern Chapter- PVA provides the following for Veterans in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama:
- We fight for quality VA health care and decent benefits for ALL veterans.
- We help our seriously wounded heroes get back into life through adaptive sports.
- We advocate for a barrier-free America for all people with disabilities.
- We help veterans with disabilities get a fair shot at the American Dream, a good job at a good company.
- We invest in the development of new treatments and cures for spinal cord injury/dysfunction.

With your generous support, we provide our services free of charge for all veterans with disabilities and their families throughout the Southeastern Region!
