MASJID AL-RAHMAN OF CHESTER COUNTY INC

. Masjid Ar Rahman has been in existence since 2004 and has been providing non-discriminatory social services to its neighbors without any religious or cultural bias. Masjid Ar Rahman has specifically engaged in the following activities on a regular basis independently and in collaboration with major National Non-Profit organizations like CAIR, HHRD, ICNA. All these activities ae open to the public at large irrespective of their religious or other affiliations.

1. Food distribution (Ramadhan food drive)
2. Turkey and Meat distribution to neighbors
3. Fruits distribution (fruit baskets)
4. Cloth distribution (Winter shawls)
5. Disinfectants and cleaning supplies during Covid-19
6. Distribution of Back to School Supplies
7. Financial support to the needy neighbors (paying electricity bills, soft loans)
8. Street cleaning on Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Day (in collaboration with neighboring churches and non-religious organizations)
9. Hosting inter-faith meetings on a regular basis to discuss and resolve common community issues (drug & alcohol abuse/homicide/Black lives matter…)
10. Counselling and healing Support to Veterans Hospital inmates
