DERBY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The mission of the Derby Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the Derby area by being a catalyst for connecting people and resources with community needs and initiatives.

Since 1993 the Derby Community Foundation has been working to enhance the quality of life in the Derby area. The significant impact that the DCF has had on the Derby community over the past 30 years is a testament to the vision and generosity of our donors. From the first initiative of the DCF--raising matching funds for a grant to construct the first phase of Derby's now 25-mile hike/bike path--to more recent efforts which include the Derby Area Veterans Memorial Walk of Freedom, $105,000 in college scholarships awarded annually to Derby High School students, and assistance to high school students taking career-technical certifications at area community and technical colleges, and many other efforts.
