2026 Bar X Project Veteran Retreats

The mission of the Bar X Project is to reunite post-9/11 combat veterans with members of their former units, helping them reestablish the unique bonds forged during combat. For 15 years, the Bar X Project has accomplished what no government program can: reconnecting combat veterans with those who understand them best— their fellow warriors—through retreats in Montana’s wilderness. These retreats feature the Post Traumatic Winning Seminar, a class on building wealth, peer support, and the calming experience of fly fishing. We will be conducting five Montana retreats in the 2026 season, utilizing the Snowcrest Lodge in Big Sky, the Two Rivers Lodge in Nye and the Four Creeks Lodge in Big Timber.
