We surveyed the family caregivers of elderly and disabled veterans, and this is what they said they wanted:

- Respite

- Transportation

- Supplies

- Emotional support

Many also requested a safe ramp at the front door, grab bars in the bathroom, railings along stairs, and modifications that prevent falls

These interventions help caregivers keep going.

Pawsitivity Service Dogs for Veterans created this project because our work has always centered on supporting veterans and the families who care for them.
