Mission Statement for Mansfield Emergency Management Service Association At the Mansfield Emergency Management Service Association (MEMSA), our mission is to empower and support the Mansfield Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) in safeguarding our community during times of crisis and promoting public safety. Our dedication to this mission is driven by our commitment to enhancing disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts while fostering a culture of community resilience. Our Goals 1. Funding Emergency Material and Projects: MEMSA is steadfast in its commitment to providing critical financial support for MEMA. We aim to ensure that MEMA has access to the necessary resources, equipment, and infrastructure to effectively respond to emergencies, natural disasters, and public safety incidents in our community. By investing in the latest technology, training programs, and infrastructure improvements, we strive to enhance MEMA's capabilities to protect and serve our residents. 2. Community Engagement: We believe that community engagement is vital to building a resilient and safe Mansfield. MEMSA seeks to actively involve community members in emergency preparedness and response initiatives. We aim to educate, inform, and engage the public in disaster preparedness and safety measures to ensure everyone's well-being during emergencies. 3. Supporting Local Charities: MEMSA recognizes the importance of giving back to our community. As part of our commitment to public safety, we allocate resources to support local charities and organizations that share our mission. In pursuing these goals, MEMSA seeks to make Mansfield a safer, more resilient, and united community. Together with MEMA and our fellow residents, we work tirelessly to prepare for the unexpected, respond effectively in times of crisis, and support the well-being of our neighbors.

Our Charitable goals including critical funding support equipment and other financial support that otherwise would not be funded through other means. Additionally, MEMSA eagerly partners with qualified local charities to further the causes as stated. In the last year we supported Scars and Stripes1776, which raises awareness and support for veterans and firefighters struggling with mental illness.
