ARMSTRONG COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL

The Armstrong Community Music School provides lifelong access to the musical arts through instruction and performances for all regardless of age, skill, ethnicity, or income. Its core mission is to provide excellence in music instruction with a commitment to providing extensive community service.

The Armstrong Community Music School is devoted to serving the Austin community and reaching out to bring the joy of music to everyone. Since its inception in 2000, ACMS has been a musical force for good, serving well over 600 children and adults a week out in the community, in addition to the 1,000 individuals served weekly at our Westlake campus.

ACMS has a great cultural impact serving 31 zip codes throughout the Austin area with our six Community Partnership Programs, Our Community Presence (including our satellite location in Travis Heights), Our Open Door/No Rent Policy for Musical Artists and Organizations, and our Artists-in-Residence Program.
