Community Resource Navigation and Weekly Outreach

Foundations FYI provides practical, low-barrier support to individuals and families experiencing hardship in Flathead County, Montana.

Our current program combines resource navigation with weekly community outreach. A part-time Resource Navigation Coordinator responds to calls and messages, identifies immediate needs, and connects people with nonprofit organizations, churches, recovery and treatment resources, government programs, businesses, volunteers, and community members.
Each week, our team also shares a meal with people experiencing homelessness and hardship. We listen to their experiences, identify gaps in available services, and learn which immediate needs are going unmet. These conversations help Foundations FYI build a more responsive program based on direct community input rather than assumptions.
Immediate needs may include food, hygiene supplies, clothing, transportation, communication access, identification assistance, recovery support, housing resources, utility assistance, and referrals to qualified service providers.
President Kari Bradley serves as the part-time Resource Navigation Coordinator while completing her education and licensing requirements in addiction recovery counseling. Founder and Vice President David Hall coordinates program development, partnerships, communications, grant strategy, and overall project direction. Crystal Rae Hall coordinates donor outreach and requests food, supplies, and other in-kind contributions from businesses, churches, and individuals.

Donations will support weekly outreach meals, resource-navigation costs, phone and communication expenses, food and hygiene supplies, transportation assistance, volunteer coordination, emergency-needs support, and development of a stronger immediate-needs response system.
