On September 30, an earthquake struck off the coast of Bogo City, Cebu Province, causing significant devastation. The community is reeling from the loss of 69 lives, with 201 individuals injured and more expected in the coming days. Over 111,600 individuals have been affected, with more than 20,000 displaced, mostly staying outside evacuation centers. The earthquake has left a trail of destruction, with widespread damage to homes, churches, public buildings, roads, and ports. Many families are now forced to shelter in front of their houses and in open spaces due to the ongoing aftershocks.
