The Invictus Foundation is the repository for the intellectual capital of the Foundation. The intellectual capital housed at the Foundation level and includes: (1) leadership and team building, (2) organization and management of our charitable and innovative BHSO model, (3) brand management, (4) clinical expertise, (5) training expertise, (6) educational expertise, (7) research focus and design, (8) medical information systems, (9) health information systems and database management, (10) strategic planning and market analysis, (11) E-commerce, (12) financial management, (13) risk management, (14) continual refinement of the scope and reach of our Local Nationalizer funding model, (15) capital growth planning, development and execution, (16) development and preparation of special events to be executed at the community level, (17) donor profiles and engagements, (18) development and execution of ongoing community outreach activities, (19) development and granulation of community behavioral health providers expressing an interest in working with uniform services personnel, veterans and their families regionally and locally and (20) development of a granular mosaic of public, private, quasi-public, civic and religious community leadership in each community that an Invictus Center operates
The Invictus Foundation has created a national network of locally based operations we have branded as the Welcome Home Network. We call this funding model Local Nationalizer. We are focusing on TBI and behavioral health issues affecting our Nation's uniformed services, veterans and their families that are important to local communities across the Country, where government alone can't solve the problem. Most of the money for our programs is raised from individuals, foundations, corporations, labor unions and special events. No money comes from government agencies or fees. The goal of the Invictus Foundation is to have 95 cents of every donated dollar going into the construction and operation of the Invictus Centers.
The Invictus Foundation will execute capital growth development plans, align with matching donation programs, conduct special events and employ endowment strategies both at the national, regional and local level where the Centers reside. All capital growth development plans, matching donations and endowment programs will be designed to operate our Centers into perpetuity.
Finally, by establishing a Health Care REIT (REIT) under which all properties held by the Invictus Foundation will reside, we anticipate being able to take advantage of growing land valuations to fund some of our operating costs across our Centers. In short, we believe the Centers will be self-sustaining and will thrive in each and every community that they are placed
