Men and Women of Fashion's Prix d'Elegance Luncheon

par NEW ORLEANS BALLET ASSOCIATION

Now celebrating over 50 years, the Men and Women of Fashion have paid tribute to dozens of individuals in the region who exemplify unique personal style as well as excellence through business, civic and charitable endeavors that benefit the community. On Monday, April 13, 2026, the organizations will again honor business and community luminaries at the annual Prix d’Elegance Awards Luncheon at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. With an expected attendance of over 800, guests will enjoy a glamorous fashion show by Chatta Box Boutique and Jeff’s Haberdashery, a champagne reception by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, a stunning silent auction, a raffle with a drawing for a gift certificate from Lee Michaels and a drawing for a gift certificate from Rubensteins, and more.

The proceeds of the luncheon will benefit the Ballet Resource and Volunteer Organization (BRAVO), which provides critical funds to support the nationally award-winning programming of the New Orleans Ballet Association. The membership of the Men and Women of Fashion is proud to contribute to a cultural organization so deeply committed to New Orleans youth.

The Men of Fashion organization was formed in 1971 and began honoring men who represent outstanding fashion presence and community service. In 1982, the organization also began selecting women who met the same criteria. In 1999, the Women of Fashion was formed.

The memberships of Men of Fashion and Women of Fashion are composed solely of past award recipients of the “Best Dressed” awards. Each year, the memberships of both organizations nominate a group of deserving candidates. There is also a special “Hall of Fame” category for past award winners. The Men and Women of Fashion select one man and one woman they feel most exemplify their standards to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Presidents’ Choice Award was created for leadership to highlight the extraordinary achievements and contributions to the community of one or two people.
