The transition from military to civilian life can be challenging for many of our nation's heroes. The uncertainty of "what's next" can be paralyzing. Leadership4Life takes combat wounded veterans on a transition journey where they learn to live a life of purpose and connection.
The one-year long program includes connecting as a team, using their strengths to challenge and empower each other, learning new skills and translating skills learned in the military to civilian life. The program includes a life mapping plan, where participants discover the purpose of their life and create a plan to fulfill that purpose.
The focus of this program is to take participants on a journey that enables to see the gifts, talents, and abilities they have and help them stand tall as engaged, purposeful and productive members of society, able to live the life they were meant to live. This will be accomplished through virtual community engagement, virtual and live training sessions, and group experiences. Training will focus on the responsibility and overall growth of each individual and the duty of community.
As a result of this program, the participants will experience increased confidence, productivity, more personal responsibility. They will also see an increase in creativity and innovation, enabling them to fulfill their purpose and destiny.
For MWSF to provide this opportunity, we need your help. The cost of $10,000 will support the costs associated with program facilitation, travel for live training sessions and individual growth opportunities for a veteran's one-year program.
"This program has been nothing but a success story for me. I have gone outside of my comfort zone to take on much more than I ever thought possible, and that is because of all of you, and MVVSF! I found my purpose in life and that is coaching/teaching young men, not just a game, but life. I feel that is what I'm called to do." — J. Pullin
"Before Leadership4Life, I wasn’t social, I wasn't going out and meeting new people. Now I am building a professional network. I'm speaking up more and I’m able to share what I have with others." — B. Langford
