Actor/director Grant Neale started Nomad Theatrical Company to make physically dynamic theater. Using the great plays from Shakespeare to Tennessee Williams as a pretext for story and character, the artists involved create a piece of work wherein everything - from the actors' bodies to the sets and props - transform during performance. Their movement styles incorporate dance (ballet partnering, modern, African, flamenco), classic mime (and LeCoq), and acrobatics. Additionally, Nomad Theatrical Company also develops new plays for performance, and theatrically based films.
