Rebuilding for Heroes

It is estimated that more than 4.3 million veterans have a combined family income of less than $20,000, making it difficult to provide for the necessary repairs to a family home. Additionally, the majority of the 23 million veterans living in the U.S. have reached the age of retirement and will soon live on an even smaller, fixed income.

Rebuilding For Heroes runs from September 11 - November 11 and helps the homes of veterans and surviving spouses. We fill the gaps in modifications and repair services that retired and active servicemen and servicewomen struggle to meet free of charge for service recipients. Our goal is to provide safe and accessible housing for all low-income veterans in North Texas.
