Humility Homes and Services, Inc., is committed to ending homelessness by offering housing opportunities and supportive services in the greater Quad Cities area.

In 1990, the Congregation of Humility of Mary established Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. provided thousands of families with safe, quality and affordable housing. In 2008, the Congregation of Humility of Mary founded Humility of Mary Shelter, Inc. in order to acquire the former John Lewis Shelter in downtown Davenport. Humility of Mary Shelter, Inc. is a 70 bed emergency shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness. In July of 2018, Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. and Humility of Mary Shelter, Inc. merged to create Humility Homes and Services, Inc. Today, Humility Homes and Services, Inc. provides emergency shelter, scattered site supportive housing and rental apartments for low-income individuals and families.
