First Presbyterian Church Sapulpa

The Neighbor's Table is a community food pantry based out of First Church Sapulpa. Our goal is to love our community by addressing the local food shortage. The Neighbor's Table feeds approximately 900 households monthly or about 2000 people and served 578,290 pounds of food in 2024 alone. Neighbors are able to shop the pantry for produce, cold items, and dried goods, as opposed to pre-filled boxes. This reduces food waste as only needed items are taken and fosters a sense of community between our volunteers and the community members served. We also provide nutritional information to promote the health and well being that is refelcted in our mission statement.

Additionally, we partner with local service providers to address further need in our community. For example Emergency Infant Services "Baby Blue Bus" provides baby supplies, SNAP sign up and affordable wireless connectivity programs are offered, and we supply CSFP Senior boxes. We strive to constantly expand our services to help our Neighbors and are working to assist Senior apartment living by either providing food or transportation to our weekly pantry.

The number of Neighbors we serve has been increasing at high rates since our inception in 2021 and the demographics served reflect all members of our community (veterans, elderly, adults, children). We are meeting a wide variety of need, but see that need growing at a rate where our supply does not meet demand. We have moved from being open twice monthly to weekly and operate completely with a very dedicated volunteer staff. The Neighbor's Table truly highlights the value of caring for our Neighbors. Our goal is to meet the immediate food crisis but also continually look for ways to guarantee sustainability so our volunteers can continue to serve our Neighbors with dignity, warmth, and respect until food insecurity no longer exists.
