The mission of Specialized Outdoor Adaptive Recreation Experiences, Inc. (SOAR Experiences) is to provide individuals living with spinal cord injuries (SCI) and other mobility impairments with safe, accessible outdoor recreational opportunities. We strive to connect participants to natural spaces that are often otherwise inaccessible while promoting health, independence, peer support, and community engagement. SOAR Experiences is committed to expanding adaptive programs to new locations and raising awareness of accessibility through partnerships with universities, organizations, and community programs. By educating healthcare professionals, organizations, and students about the value of inclusive outdoor spaces, we cultivate advocates who help make public spaces accessible, equitable, and welcoming to all.
Specialized Outdoor Adaptive Recreation Experiences, Inc. (SOAR Experiences) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing adaptive accessible outdoor recreation for individuals living with mobility impairments.
