GROWING REAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORK AT KAZIMOUR FARM & ORCHARD INC

GROW at Kazimour Farm & Orchard is a nonprofit focused on creating opportunities for job training and employment in horticulture for adults with disabilities. We are located on a 42 acre apple orchard in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that is designated an Iowa Century Farm, having been in the Kazimour family for over 100 years. We partner with local agencies including the Cedar Rapids public schools, Iowa Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Arc of Eastern Iowa, Feed Iowa First to coordinate our efforts. In addition to apples, we grow landscape plants, vegetables, herbs, produce honey, and also are working with the Bee City USA program to support pollinator gardens in our area. We work with many volunteers including retired/seniors as well as veterans.
