Seattle Qabila Project

The Qabila Project is dedicated to sharing the joy and diversity of Arabic folk dance rooted in the strong belief that art can build bridges of understanding across cultures, ages, genders, ideologies, and backgrounds. As we constantly refine what it means to fulfill our mission in practice, the Seattle Qabila Project is currently focused on building our dance company operations and educational programming. As a part of this, we produce cultural dance events in Seattle, travel to a variety of performance opportunities, host teachers for cultural arts training, and engage in continuing education opportunities. Our primary goal at this point of our work is to build our outreach efforts and educational programming simultaneously.
