"The mission of the North Valley Community Health Association-NVH Foundation is to enhance medical care in the North Okanogan County through donations and gifts." We gift to our public hospital district which serves 7 rural economically challenged communities with an above average number of charity cases each month as we cannot turn people in need away.
Donations and gifts have been used for the following: 1. a bus to transport NH residents & veterans, 2. Annual Scholarships to local students who are enrolled in a health care pathway, 3. Mammograms for women without health insurance or unable to pay, 3. Placed AEDs in the Senior centers and BOY Scouts Camp, 4. Gifted a walk-in-tub to the Extended Care, 5.
