BRENDAN LEDDY MEMORIAL FUND

The Brendan Leddy Memorial Fund is powered by the Calais Skatepark
Committee, which was established in 1999 by a high school shop teacher
and his motivated students who designed, constructed, and funded by
using solely volunteer work, grants and community business support.
The CSC rekindled after the tragic loss of two members, one to suicide
and the other to substance use overdose, where they found the
inspiration to create a 501c3 non-profit to give back to our small
community. The BLMF nonprofit focuses on the importance of community
building through action sports and mental health awareness. The BLMF:
donates 10% of its funding to organizations who support substance use
recovery, suicide awareness and mental health services for veterans;
provides free youth skate lessons; hosts action sports events; funds
scholarships to world renowned action sports camps; and provides
funding and technical support to other regional skateparks.
