Good Grief 5K Run & Walk

The Good Grief 5K Run & Walk is our largest fundraiser and this year’s event is on May 30, 2026 at Veterans Memorial Park in South Burlington. It is projected to bring nearly 700 people together for friendly competition with a fun after-party. We project to raise nearly 50% of Empty Arms’ annual budget in the process. The 5K brings the community together around an issue that is often difficult to address and bring awareness to. We have purposely cultivated an uplifting and family-friendly so that it is accessible to the whole community, and a place to rally around a good cause.
