Honor Flight of the Appalachian Highlands provides an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC for Veterans of any era, but currently we are serving Veterans of WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Wars and terminally ill Veterans. The trip will be by charter bus and will be a weekend trip with all expenses paid for Veterans, including meals and hotel. Veterans will visit the WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and other memorials dedicated to their service.
Our Veterans deserve this small token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice and shows the Veterans that their service is much appreciated. This trip allows Veterans to visit the memorials erected in their honor and to have the fellowship and support of their fellow service members.
The Veterans who have experienced their HFAH trip of a lifetime, with HONOR state it is indeed a trip of a lifetime and share the impact that the trip has had on their lives and the are in awe of the respect and honor that they are shown.
