Baseline Value: GRATITUDE
The Wuuney (Food) program focuses on indigenous knowledge harvesting and food processing. This program seeks to provide first foods to elders and the needy within the community.
Culture Guardians who are experienced in their craft educate participants on food safety, handling and harvesting from traditional and contemporary methods. Program participants learn how to create their own farm to table Wuuney, and leave the educational courses with Wuuney, and greater knowledge of the land they walk on.
Participants create Wuuney for the Wuuney Food bank for the needy through Xsoo program.
