Art Therapy Studio at Sana Healing Collective

de SANA HEALING COLLECTIVE

The Art Therapy Studio at Sana Healing Collective is a vibrant space where creativity, healing, and community care come together. Rooted in our belief that Community is Medicine, the studio will provide opportunities for individuals to engage in expressive arts as a way to process emotions, explore identity, and foster resilience.

Our monthly open studio times invite community members to explore a wide range of artistic mediums in a welcoming, supportive environment. These sessions emphasize process over product, offering participants freedom to engage their creativity without judgment. Whether through painting, collage, sculpture, or mixed media, the act of creating becomes a therapeutic tool for self-expression, grounding, and release, while receiving support from a board-certified art therapist with decades of experience.

In addition to open studio times, the Art Therapy Studio will host workshops and events in collaboration with local artists and art therapists. These gatherings will highlight expressive arts as an essential practice for integration of psychedelic experiences, supporting mental health treatment through creativity and embodied reflection. By bridging art and therapy, the studio aims to expand access to holistic healing approaches that nurture mind, body, and spirit.

The studio serves as a community hub, building connections among artists, healers, and participants through shared creative practice. By centering accessibility and collaboration, we strive to dismantle barriers to healing and uplift diverse voices in our community. Through this space, we honor the transformative power of art to heal trauma, inspire insight, and strengthen collective care..

With your support, the studio will serve at least 140 participants over the next year — providing accessible, judgment-free creative care for people of diverse backgrounds, including veterans, folks in therapy, and community members seeking grounding and connection.
