Restoration Hall Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving the Ohio Valley with a mission centered on workforce opportunity, economic mobility, housing stability, and community revitalization. Our work is designed to address the interconnected barriers that can prevent individuals and families from achieving long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
At the center of our vision is the Workforce Development and Business Innovation Center in Bellaire, Ohio. The Center is being developed as a comprehensive community resource where workforce preparation, education, supportive services, entrepreneurship, and community development can operate together rather than in isolation.
Restoration Hall serves veterans, justice-involved and reentry populations, economically disadvantaged individuals, and other underserved residents who may face barriers to employment and economic independence. Our workforce development model emphasizes career readiness, pre-apprenticeship readiness, skilled-trades pathways, employment preparation, supportive services, and connections with educational institutions, workforce agencies, apprenticeship programs, employers, and community partners.
A major focus is helping individuals become ready to enter training, apprenticeship, and employment opportunities. Restoration Hall works to address practical barriers such as educational readiness, identification and documentation, transportation, career preparation, employability skills, and connections to appropriate workforce and supportive-service resources.
Restoration Hall's broader community model also recognizes that successful workforce participation depends on stability outside the workplace. Our initiatives therefore include housing stability and homelessness prevention, veteran support, reentry and second-chance services, childcare and early learning support, and transportation and other supportive services that can help participants remain engaged in education, training, and employment.
The Center will also support a Culinary Arts Program, creating opportunities for food-service and hospitality training while developing practical workforce and entrepreneurial skills. Our Theater of the Arts programming will provide opportunities for music, theater, performance, creative expression, education, and community engagement.
Entrepreneurship and small-business development are additional components of the Workforce Development and Business Innovation Center. Restoration Hall seeks to help individuals move beyond simply obtaining employment by creating pathways toward career advancement, business development, financial stability, and greater economic independence.
Restoration Hall's work ultimately extends beyond any single program or population. By bringing workforce development, supportive services, housing stability, education, arts, entrepreneurship, and community partnerships together, we are building an integrated model designed to strengthen individuals and families while contributing to the economic and social revitalization of Bellaire and the broader Ohio Valley.
Opening Doors. Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives.
