Catholic Charities of Central Texas is a member of one of the largest social service networks in the United States, Catholic Charities USA. Since 1999, Catholic Charities of Central Texas has worked to meet the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community in order to strengthen families across a 25 county region. Though community needs and services offered have changed, Catholic Charities remains committed to its mission: People of faith serving anyone in need by strengthening families and promoting respect for human dignity and life.
Catholic Charities of Central Texas has a goal to end poverty throughout Travis and the 24 surrounding counties. We strive to accomplish this goal through our 7 programs that are aimed at caring for children, strengthening families, supporting veterans and welcoming the stranger.
