RIDGECREST VETERANS ADVISORY COUNCIL

We help Veterans with things like utilities if they fall behind. We help with food when it is needed. We assist them to get in touch with different agencies that can help them file a claim. We help the homeless Veteran by putting them up in a hotel till such a time that the agency that deals with that comes from Bakersfield to fill out paperwork and pay deposits on apartments. We have 4 collaborative a year where we bring Veteran services in to help the veteran.. We have our big event ounce a year where we have aprox 70 tables filled with people offering free help to Veterans. We feed them breakfast, lunch and snacks for 6 hours than have free food and hygiene for those that need it. We our a all volunteer group that will help Veterans at any time, If we don't have the answers we will get them and get back to them. We have a free luncheon around the time of Veteran day to honor are Veterans.
