In today's age of ready-to-go meals and microwave cooking, it's no wonder our younger generation can't cook or even know their way around a kitchen. When parents are having to work two (or even three) jobs in order to make ends meet, when is there time for teaching cooking skills. Kids Cooking Camp is intended to provide children between the ages of 12 to 16 with the basic understanding, knowledge and skills of the culinary arts. Provide students with the appreciation of cooking with healthy foods, flavor profiles, and visual appeal. Provide these young people with the motivation and ability to build creative, nutritious meals and snacks that are not just "zapped" by the microwave. By using certified Culinary Arts teachers and professionals, this 4 week camp to be held during the summer of 2015, could have the potential to create the next "Jr. Master Chef'".
