Whiskers and Tails is an all volunteer, 501 (c) 3 Missouri registered humane/human resource and assistance non profit organization.
We help both humans and animals.
Whiskers and Tails works hard to keep companion animals in their own homes by providing aid and assistance to their low - no income families. This could be human and animal food, helping financially with urgent, emergency or ongoing animal medical care, delivering meals to seniors and veterans, collecting clothing, sources for heat and air conditioning, bedding and furniture, assistance with small and some large home repair projects and we offer a program that virtually adopts our families and their companion animals out for the holidays. It is called Hope for the Holidays. You can read their stories on the tags that we put out each year and decide whish family, individual or animal that you would like to adopt. We ask you to "Grab a tag and fill a need or grant a wish or two "
We work 7 days a week helping just over 540 families and 750 animals each year.
