The mission of Paws 4 Liberty is to help veterans with disabilities regain their independence and confidence through the assistance of professionally trained service dogs.
Founded in 2006, Paws 4 Liberty provides professionally trained service dogs to qualified veterans with disabilities at no cost to the recipient. Paws 4 Liberty serves veterans suffering from service-related post-traumatic stress (PTSD), including PTSD developed from military sexual trauma (MST). Several of our veterans also have additional physical injuries (such as back or neck injuries) that benefit from the balance and support provided by a service dog.
