TASK FORCE 2200
SAN ANDREAS, CaliforniaTask Force 22:00 exists to reduce veteran suicide by specifically targeting rural veterans who are underserved, high risk, and too often overlooked. Every day, an estimated 22 veterans die by suicide. Many live in rural areas with limited access to healthcare, mental health resources, and community support. We are here to close that gap. As an organization led by veterans, for veterans, we know firsthand the struggles of transition and the cost of isolation. That experience drives our action-oriented approach: we don’t wait for veterans to come to us — we go directly to them. Using data and analytics, we identify the highest-risk rural regions and bring critical resources to the communities where they are needed most. Our work begins with connecting eligible veterans to VA healthcare, ensuring they can access the clinical care and benefits they have earned. Beyond enrollment, we provide non-clinical support through therapeutic recreational activities led by veterans. These programs create connection, purpose, and healing outside traditional clinical settings — offering veterans a safe space to rebuild trust, strengthen resilience, and rediscover camaraderie. Task Force 22:00 is not just about awareness, it’s about results. We measure our impact, adapt our strategies, and remain focused on action. Until the number is zero.
