WASHINGTON STREET MISSION

Washington Street Mission exists to share the love of Jesus with the people of Springfield by providing opportunities to meet their spiritual and physical needs.

The Washington Street Mission has been serving Springfield, IL's homeless and impoverished for over 115 years. Every day more than 200 individuals come through our doors to get out of the elements for a warm meal, food, to take a shower, do a load of laundry, receive free clothing, and find the transformational programming they need to change their lives. We offer comprehensive case management, a supported employment program, recovery support, daily recovery meetings, life skills and job skills classes, anger management support groups, veteran services, counseling and more.
