1212 E. 95th Street Redevelopment
The 1212 E. 95th Street Redevelopment Project is a visionary initiative led by Renewed Inc., transforming a formerly vacant industrial property on Chicago’s South Side into a vibrant community empowerment and workforce development hub. Located in the heart of the Roseland-Pullman corridor, this project will breathe new life into a historically underserved neighborhood by repurposing the existing structure into a multi-use facility that addresses critical community needs.
The redeveloped site will feature:
A Workforce Training & Reentry Center offering vocational programs, job placement, and career counseling—especially for justice-involved individuals, veterans, and unemployed residents.
A Business Incubator and Co-Working Space for minority-owned startups, local entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations.
A Community Resource Café and Event Space for wellness programs, mentorship sessions, and cultural events.
A Logistics & Delivery Drop Hub, including an Amazon return center to create accessible employment and reduce barriers to e-commerce engagement.
With a focus on equity, economic mobility, and sustainable impact, the 1212 E. 95th project will also incorporate environmentally conscious renovations, ADA-compliant access, and trauma-informed design principles. Once completed, the facility is expected to serve over 2,000 residents annually, generate permanent employment opportunities, and anchor long-term community revitalization in one of Chicago’s most overlooked corridors.
This project embodies Renewed Inc.’s mission to restore lives, repurpose spaces, and revitalize communities—turning 1212 E. 95th into a model for inclusive urban redevelopment.
