Since founded in 1989, Idaho Korean Association (IKA) has involved many cultural activities, including but not limited to the 4th of July parade in Downtown Boise, Air Force appreciation day event in Mountain Home, Appreciation for Korean Water veterans, and participation in World Festival in the greater Boise metropolitan areas. IKA is striving to increase awareness of Korean culture, to provide foundation for second generation Korean to learn Korean culture and heritage, and to promote stronger integration and contribution of Koreans to the local community.
