Dover, New JerseyIn the spirit of caring and sharing, the Faith Kitchen’s mission is to provide nutritious meals for the hungry in our community. – The Kitchen serves men, women, children, the elderly, the working poor, the unemployed, veterans, immigrants, the homeless, and those who are food insecure. – Ours is no-questions-asked policy. – All are welcome without regard for race, religion, or ethnicity. – We strive for an environment that is safe, clean, and pleasant. – We endeavor to serve with love, respect, and compassion.
Faith Kitchen serves 80-130 meals each day. We feed more people at the end of the month (when checks and food stamps run low) and when the weather is bad (when jobs for seasonal workers is scarce), but 80-100 people a day is our average. Our clients include the homeless who sleep outside, folks on fixed incomes, undocumented men, women, and children, individuals recently released from prison or jail, mentally ill people, and folks who just need a free meal to help make ends meet. ...
