The Brawlers Wrestling Club’s goal is to improve the quality of high school and youth
wrestling in the North Bay and is open to female and male youth, ages 5-18. The club
currently has forty youth members. Brawlers Wrestling Club seeks to broaden the
opportunities for youth to connect with the values and discipline inherent in the sport of wrestling and to expose the current and future wrestlers to higher levels of instruction and competition than had been available. Project activities include:
1. Currently offers instruction twice weekly at Redwood High School:
2. Mentoring of local coaches to improve education and to improve technical
information;
3. Partnering with other USA Wrestling affiliates to further the regional
opportunities.
