New Haven YMCA Youth Center Healthy Kids Day Event

Healthy Kids Day is a national Y day held annually each April. The New Haven YMCA Youth Center will be facilitating this event, which is free of charge and open to the community. It is a family friendly event, with local vendors, activities, and family resources that serves as our unofficial kick off to summer. The activities center around healthy eating and physical activity for families. We are seeking volunteers to help make this event a success! This is our first time taking Healthy Kids Day out into the community rather than running it at our building. DeGale Park is located in a neighborhood surrounded by condos, apartments, and houses so we feel it will be a well-attended event.
